The METAL WOLF CHAOS XD Original Suit pre-order bonus will be released on August 6th 2019 (Tue) at around 12:00PM.
Due to this, it will be required that it be downloaded separately via the PS Store.

What are the differences between Dark Souls III and Dark Souls III The Fire Fades Edition?
Dark Souls III The Fire Fades Edition includes the base game (Dark Souls III) as well as the first DLC "Ashes of Ariandel" and the second DLC "The Ringed City."
How can I access the DLC areas?
Please follow the instructions below to access each DLC.
Ashes of Ariandel: Talk to an NPC by the 清拭の小教会/Cleansing Chapel bonfire. The Ringed City: Warp from the bonfire which appears after you defeat 黒い炎のフリーデ/Blackflame Friede, the boss of the first DLC; or warp from a new bonfire near the 最初の火の炉/Kiln of the First Flame bonfire. (Whichever bonfire you warp from, the destination will be the same.) - Notes: try reloading if you don't see the bonfires mentioned above.
How can I play 不死の闘技/Undead Match (Online PvP)?
Burn 王者の遺骨/Champion's Bones in the 火継ぎの祭祀場/Firelink Shrine bonfire to unlock access to the 不死の闘技/Undead Match option at the same bonfire. The item is obtainable in both DLCs.
Updating the game to v1.11 will add new PvP maps and game types for free.
Can I play The Ringed City DLC without buying or playing the first DLC?
Yes, the first DLC is not necessary to play the second DLC and vice versa. All features (including 3 PvP maps and all game types) of 不死の闘技/Undead Match will be fully playable for those who have purchased at least one of the DLCs.
I have the save data with the Dark Souls III base game. Can I use this save data with Dark Souls III The Fire Fades Edition?
You can use the same save data. However, the data saved after DLC will not be found in the save data created without DLC.
Will people with DLC be matched with people without DLC?
It depends on which area they are in. They will be matched when both of them are in a non-DLC area. People in a DLC area will be matched only with those who have the DLC.
Will people who bought only the first DLC be matched with people who bought only the second DLC?
It depends on which area they are in. They will be matched when both of them are in a non-DLC area. However, if each of them is in their own DLC area, they won't be matched because the DLC they own are different in this case. However, they will be matched in 不死の闘技/Undead Match.
I bought the season pass but DLC areas are not unlocked yet.
You need to download the DLC game data from the store where you bought the season pass.
How Can I tell if DLC is applied to my game?
Check the title screen. If you have any of the DLC applied to your game, the name of DLC is found at the top-left corner of the title screen.
Is PlayStation Plus necessary to play online on PlayStation 4?
Yes. If you'd like to play online, an online subscription with your console is necessary. That is to say, PlayStation Plus for PlayStation 4 and Xbox LIVE Gold Membership for Xbox ONE. The Windows (Steam) version does not need such subscription.
- Playing online here includes not only co-op and PvP sessions, but also ghosts, messages, bloodstains, etc.
Is it possible to play co-op with my friends?
Using password matching will make it easy to connect you and your friends. If you are matched with your friends using password matching, the higher leveled player will be scaled down based on the lower leveled player's stats.

Why can I no longer login to the game servers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions?
Online services for DARK SOULS II (PS3, Xbox 360) have been terminated as of 31st March 2024.
Which features have become unavailable since online services were terminated for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions?
The following features are no longer available due to the termination of online services for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions:
Asynchronous online elements such as shades, bloodstains and messages
Multiplayer elements such as co-op play, invasions and dueling
Please note that offline gameplay is still available
Online services for the PS4, Xbox One and Windows DirectX9/11 versions of the game are ongoing, so online play can still be enjoyed on these platforms.
What are the differences between the PS3 version and the PS4 version of Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin?
The PS3 version is the all-in-one pack that includes the Dark Souls II base game and also the Lost Crowns DLC trilogy as well as big updates.
The PS4 version includes the same as above, and also some upgrades to make use of the high performance of the PS4 console.

You still need to download the DLC game data from the store where you bought the season pass.

I bought the Crown of Sunken King DLC. How can I access the new area?
To access the new area in each DLC, talk to ヴァンクラッド王/Vendrick in 不死廟/Undead Crypt. Then the DLC area will be accessible from 黒渓谷/Black Gulch (DLC1), 熔鉄城/Iron Keep (DLC2), or 虚ろの影の森/Shaded Woods (DLC3).
I don't have any of the DLC but I was summoned in a certain DLC area. I was able to keep playing with the host in that DLC area.
The players without DLC can be summoned in certain DLC areas (not all) if they place a summon sign in a specific area. However, the players without DLC cannot be a host in any DLC areas as they don't have access to such areas.

Do I need to update my game to the latest version before playing any of the DLC?
Yes. You must update your game to the latest version if you are trying to play online with or without DLC anytime after July 21, 2014.
For the Xbox 360 version owners, the latest DLCカタログ/Compatibility Pack (free) must be downloaded as well.
Please note that once the game is updated, you cannot rewind the game version even if you delete the game data.

I have DLC. Can I play online (e.g. summoning and invading) with people who don't have DLC?
It depends on which are you are in. You can play both co-op and PvP with people who don't have DLC if both of you are in a non-DLC area. On the other hand, both of you need the same DLC to play together in DLC areas. However, there are some DLC areas where you can summon people who don't have the DLC.

Some warp destinations at a bonfire are marked as "???." What is this?
When you make progress and find a new bonfire in the game, ??? will be replaced with the new bonfire's name.
I've been disconnected and cannot play online.
If you repeat disconnecting from the game too many times in a certain time frame (whether intentionally or not), the game makes you cannot play any online features except for invasion for a limited time.
This penalty will be automatically removed after you keep playing offline for a while.

Trophies/Achievements linked to online elements are no longer obtainable, and “Soldier Model” DLC is also unavailable.
Please note that Story Missions are still available to play offline.
How can I quit the game?
Press the PS button/Xbox Guide button and select ゲームを終了する/Quit. Make sure there is no icon at the lower right corner of your screen. If there is such an icon, the game is loading, saving or communicating with the game, so wait until it disappears.
The game fails in data certification with ACVD-LINK.
ACVD-LINK and Armored Core Official Partnership services ended on January 1, 2016.
Is the performance of the parts in ローカルパーツセット/Parts Unlock Set different from the parts acquired in the game?
No, the performance of these parts is same as the ones you acquire through regular game progress.
If I buy ローカルパーツセット/Parts Unlock Set, what will happen to the parts I've already acquired in the game.
For the parts that you acquired in the game before you buy the DLC, you will keep them. For the other parts, you will receive them through the DLC.
Is the performance of the parts in リペイントパーツ/Repainted Parts Set different from the parts acquired in the game?
No, these parts perform the same as the ones you acquire through regular game progress, but the designs are altered.
Is it possible to buy the DLC for Armored Core V now and use them with Armored Core Verdict Day?
Yes.
If you already have the ACV DLC, you can also use them with ACVD. You can buy and use the ACV DLC parts even after you transfered the save data from ACV to ACVD.
- Armored Core V DLCカタログ/Compatibility Pack is not required.
Can I transfer the ACV save data to ACVD?
Yes, but this option is only selectable when you boot the game (whether online or offline) for the first time.
- Once you start the game, the data transfer will become unavailable.
The following data will be transferred from ACV to ACVD:
- Pilot name
- Current AC (Including coloring, an emblem and a decal)
- Parts already acquired (including DLC parts). For the parts with altered performance, only 1 of them can be carried over and the stats will be reset to default.
- Emblem pieces already acquired
- Garage settings
- AC data (For the parts with altered performance, the stats will be reset to default.)
Can't equip a right arm unit on the left arm.
There are right arm units and left arm units. If you bought an arm unit for the right arm, it cannot be equipped on the left arm.
What do "LEADER" and "TRIAL" on the team member list mean?
Options removed due to features becoming unavailable after server closure.

How can I access the DLC areas?
To access the new areas added through DARK SOULS with ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS EDITION or DLC, please follow the instructions below:
1. Defeat 湖獣/Hydra in 狭間の森/Darkroot Basin. 2. Defeat クリスタルゴーレム（琥珀）/Brown Crystal Golem in 狭間の森/Darkroot Basin and save ウーラシールの宵闇/Dusk of Oolacile. 3. Defeat クリスタルゴーレム/Crystal Golem at 公爵の書庫/Duke's Archives and obtain 割れたペンダント/Broken Pendant. 4. Examine the black fog at the lake where you defeated 湖獣/Hydra in 狭間の森/Darkroot Basin. If you've already rescued ウーラシールの宵闇/Dusk of Oolacile before your purchase of DLC, start from #3 above. クリスタルゴーレム/Crystal Golem in #3 will drop 割れたペンダント/Broken Pendant only when you have purchased DLC.
I can't verify my account after newly installed the Games for Windows LIVE version of DARK SOULS with ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS EDITION.
Microsoft's Games for Windows LIVE is closed and the game service is transferred to Steam as of January 6, 2017.

What are the differences between DARK SOULS with ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS EDITION (PS3/Games for Windows LIVE) and ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS DLC (PS3)?
No difference in terms of the game content, however, since ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS DLC (PS3) is DLC, you will need the Dark Souls base game (BLJM-60993) which was released back in September 2011.
There are people only with the PS3 base game, people with DARK SOULS with ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS EDITION (PS3) and people with the base game and ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS DLC (DLC, PS3). Can all of them play together?
Yes. Regardless of DLC purchase, people playing on the same platform can play together.

I use multiple PSN accounts on the same console. Do I need to buy DLC for each PSN account?
No. Although the purchase history is managed per account, the user of the data is not limited, so you don't need to buy DLC for all of your accounts as long as you are playing on the same console which you bought the DLC with.
- If you delete the PSN account which was used to buy DLC, you won't be able to use the other PSN accounts to play DLC any more even if they are still on the same console.
Is it possible to keep using the DLC save data after I uninstall the DLC?
No. If you uninstall ARTORIAS OF THE ABYSS DLC (PS3), the save data created with the DLC will become unavailable. To make it available again, you need to re-install the DLC.
