Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Nao Udagawa) and FromSoftware, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Hidetaka Miyazaki) announced that the new title “ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN”, a spinoff of the critically acclaimed action RPG “ELDEN RING” (28.6 million units sold), will be released in 2025. The game will be published by FromSoftware in Japan and by Bandai Namco Entertainment in overseas territories.

■ A co-op action survival game that reforms aspects of ELDEN RING’s game design into a brand-new experience

This title is an action game where players cooperate to overcome a variety of challenging situations. While carrying over elements from ELDEN RING, such as weapons and enemies, the game design has been reformed to provide players with a completely new gameplay experience. Players will choose from a cast of unique characters to face off against a new threat.

A thrilling gameplay experience in which players can enjoy a fast-paced mix of RPG elements such as dungeon exploration and character leveling, paired with intense combat against powerful enemies.

Players must work together to survive for 3 days within an expansive world.
Players will need to prepare wisely by exploring the world and strengthening their characters in order to overcome the onset of Night, and the powerful Nightlords that await them on day 3.

A world that changes every time you play

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN takes place in the land of “Limveld”.
Players will feel a deep sense of accomplishment from not only overcoming challenging enemies, but the map itself.

Strengthen your chosen character as you traverse the everchanging world, with new key locations, enemies and weapons awaiting you each time you play. The key to overcoming each of the Nightlords lies in how you explore the world and strengthen your character in preparation for the challenge ahead.

Warriors standing against the Night

8 warriors known as “Nightfarers” have gathered to face 8 formidable threats.

Their ranks consist of a variety of characters, including swordsmen, witches and other strange outlanders, all with unique abilities and backgrounds. These warriors wield powerful “Character Skills” and “Ultimate Arts”, such as a special dagger that creates weak spots in enemies, or the ability to summon a giant tombstone from below. These unique abilities offer an additional layer of strategy when facing enemies, and allow players to enjoy a range of distinct playstyles.

Players can freely explore vast open areas and dungeons, uncovering secrets and defeating powerful enemies to attain a deep sense of accomplishment.
