Tokyo, August 24, 2016 – FromSoftware, Inc. today announced that ASHES OF ARIANDEL, the first DLC for an action-RPG DARK SOULS III, will be released for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows® on October 25th, 2016 in Japan.

ASHES OF ARIANDEL is the DLC for DARK SOULS III which first launched back in March 2016. It will add new areas to explore so the players can again enjoy traversing the challenging world of DARK SOULS III.

Two pieces of DLC are scheduled for DARK SOULS III including ASHES OF ARIANDEL. The second DLC is currently set for release in early 2017. Both DLCs will bring a variety of new content such as new maps, bosses, NPCs, weapons, armor pieces, spells and also stories.

This DLC will be digital-only and available at the online stores for each platform. The season pass which allows the players to get both DLCs together at a discount will also be purchasable from August 25th.
