Windows Version to Launch on April 12, 2016

Tokyo, September 17, 2015 – FromSoftware, Inc. today announced that DARK SOULS III for Japanese version Windows® will be released on April 12, 2016. The PlayStation®4 and Xbox One® versions of the game are set to release on March 24, 2016 in Japan.

DARK SOULS III, the latest game in the series, is an action role-playing game with a number of familiar gameplay concepts from earlier games in the series. The large-scale game world will also feature unique construction of the areas where the players can experience various new visual effects such as ashes blown by wind, dynamic lighting and impressive contrast between light and shadow. All these features and interactions together will make for an ever-more immersive world of Dark Souls.
