Coming Worldwide in Early 2016

Tokyo, June 16, 2015 – BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. and FromSoftware, Inc. today announced that they have been jointly working on DARK SOULS Ⅲ, the latest game in the Dark Souls series. The game will be released worldwide in early 2016 by FromSoftware in Japan and by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment in other regions.

DARK SOULS Ⅲ is an action role-playing video game and continues the same gameplay concepts as the earlier games in the series which has sold over 8 million units worldwide to date. Set in a completely new world, this hard-core action role-playing game will once again feature tense dungeon exploration and intensely rewarding gameplay.

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment and FromSoftware will make full use of FromSoftware’s development potential and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment’s worldwide distribution experience. Together these companies will develop a strategic marketing and promotion campaign for this exciting new title.
